Obituary for Jonathan W. "Jon" Hamm

Jonathan W. "Jon" Hamm, 48, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 5, 2019.

He was born October 2, 1970, in Morehead, Kentucky, to Woodrow "Junior - Woody" Hamm and the late Cheryl Ann Rath Hamm.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Merranda Hamm; step children, Meagan B. Hillary and Tanner B. Robinette, all of Monticello, Indiana; a sister, Sunshine (JR) Henderson; a niece, Sheyanne Wharton, all of Lafayette, Indiana; mother and step father-in-law, Christy and Robert Yard of Hamlet, Indiana; father-in-law, Daniel Plunkett of Crawfordsville, Indiana; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Michelle) Robinson of Greenfield, Indiana; sister-in-law, Sarina (Robert) Browne of Delphi, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; as well as other relatives in Kentucky and Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Rath Hamm; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Virginia Rath; and paternal grandmother, Ethel Hamm.

Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019, at Masters Cemetery with Elder Cephas Littleton officiating.
