Wilma and Jimmy owned and operated the former Lewis Construction Company in Morehead, Salt Lick Service Center and Jimmy’s Auto Sales in Salt Lick. She was a former cook at Bath County Middle School and a former employee of Gateway Juvenile Center in Mt. Sterling. Wilma had a lifelong passion for cars and in her younger years enjoyed racing Go Carts. In 1971, she was named the Ohio State Go Cart Champion. She loved classic cars to current models and enjoyed the challenge of selling and driving all kinds. She also enjoyed the outdoors. Mowing her yard was one of her favorite past times as well as feeding the birds, nurturing flowers and searching for the perfect find at greenhouses, auctions, and yard sales. Wilma was a devoted wife who lovingly cared for Jimmy for ten years. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren received the same unconditional love and attention. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
