Wilma Louise Webb Stevens, age 65, of US 60 East, Morehead, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born June 1, 1959, in Olive Hill, and was the daughter of the late Ruben Webb and Laura Inez Gilliam Webb.
Wilma is survived by her husband of 44 years, Melvin Brent Stevens, whom she married July 26, 1981; a granddaughter, Madeline Taylor Stevens of Morehead, whom they raised; one son, Matthew Derek Stevens (Amanda Bales) of Morehead; and a grandson, Maynard Bryce Stevens of Morehead.
Other survivors include four brothers, Phillip Webb of Independence, Kentucky, Bill Webb, Dwight Webb, and Ruben Paul Webb, all of Olive Hill; three sisters, Verita Sharon Burchett, Regina Karen Day, and Inez Faye Perry, all of Olive Hill; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
Wilma was a homemaker and secretary for Stevens Used Cars, Poppy Mountain, and Lee’s Used Cars. Wilma was a graduate of Carter County High School and attended Morehead State University. She enjoyed gardening and shopping and also had a booth at the Peddler’s Mall. Wilma will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Bobby Day and Brother Bodie Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in New Sill Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Dylan Stevens, Jagger Stevens, Marty Stevens, Ronnie Blevins, Robert Blevins, and Jonathan Webb. The Webb family will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
