Wilma Terrell Jones, age 90, of Hungry Hollow Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Ridgeway Manor in Owingsville.
Born September 7, 1929, in Frenchburg, Wilma was the only child of the late Dudley Terrell and Mary Stamper Terrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Malcom Jones, on August 16, 1997.
She is survived by two children, Mary Jane Sadowski and Tom Jones, both of Morehead; three grandchildren, Tommy Jones of Morehead, Linda (Ryan) Hayes of Fishers, Indiana, and Sharon Sadowski of Georgetown, Texas; and three great grandchildren, Brody Hayes and Ashlyn Hayes of Fishers, Indiana, and Kinsley Llort of Georgetown, Texas.
Wilma was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Acme Stone Company in Olive Hill. She always enjoyed quilting, Bluegrass music, farming in her gardens, and spending time with her loved ones. Wilma will be greatly missed by all.
Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private family visitation and service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Tim Thomas and Sherry Sloan officiating. Private burial will follow at Brown Cemetery.
