William R. Rose “Bob,” age 71, of Tharp Cemetery Road, Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born September 22, 1951, in Maysville, Kentucky, and was the son of the late John M. Rose and Della Huddleston Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Rose.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Cyphers Rose; his devoted son, Jacob Rose and wife Victoria; and three precious grandchildren, Summer Rose, Makayla Rose, and William Owen Rose, all of Wallingford, Kentucky.
Other survivors include one brother, Jack Rose and wife Valerie and two sisters, Jane Rose and Leann Dillon and husband Ted, all of Wilmington, Ohio, as well as other relatives and friends.
Bob was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. An employee of Packs Inc. for more than 20 years, he was currently a Senior Project Superintendent. He was a master plumber, master HVAC tech, and master Electrician. His knowledge in the construction area went far beyond what most people could comprehend. He was often referred to as a genius in this area.
He was a perfectionist in all aspects of life. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son. Anyone fortunate to meet him was better for it. Bob’s hobbies were working and spending quality time with family, especially his grandbabies. He will forever be missed and remembered. Love you, Pops.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday, November 4, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Arnold Howell officiating. Private burial will be in Tharp Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers
Visitation for Bob Rose will be 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
