William Emerson Williams, age 63, of Morehead, formerly of West Liberty, passed away to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from a brief illness.
He was born in Middleton, Ohio, on November 24, 1958, and was a son of the late Forest Gene and Zelma Adams Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Randall Dean Williams and one sister, Anna Rose Williams.
Emerson is survived by his loving wife, Paula Williams, they were united in marriage on November 18, 1979. To this union was born three children, Rebecca (Phillip) Montgomery of Hillsboro, Dianna (Joe) Ratliff of Hazel Green, and Emerson (Kisha) Williams of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Katelin (Austin) Wright of Flemingsburg, Nicholas Keeton of West Liberty, Cody (fiancée Madison) Caudill of Hillsboro, Lindsey Ratliff of West Liberty, Hayden, Brayden, Logan, and Emmalyn Williams, all of Hillsboro; and two great grandchildren, Tucker Wright and Bentley Caudill.
He is also survived by two sisters Teresa (special brother-in-law, Preston) Hall of Soldier, and Regina Adkins of West Liberty; three brothers, Marcus (Nada) Williams of Hazel Green, Forest (Theresa) Williams of Morehead, and Richard (Teresa) Williams of White Oak; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Williams of Florence; and a host of extended family and friends.
Emerson was a retired auto technician of Emerson’s Auto Service in West Liberty and Larry Fannin Chevrolet in Morehead.
Emerson gave his heart to the Lord in 1988 and was a member of the Church of God. He loved and trusted the Lord with all of his heart, loved to witness for the Lord and was prayer warrior that will be greatly missed.
In honor of Emerson’s wishes there will be a private service for the family.
