Whitley Nicole Hitch, age 37, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington following a long battle with kidney disease.
Born May 22, 1988, in Morehead, she was the daughter of Steve Hitch of Morehead and the late Sharon Sue Dehart Hitch, who passed away January 21, 2026. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bridgett Hitch.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving companion of 15 years, Tony Cutright of Olive Hill; her very special eight-year-old son, Andy Cutright; one sister, Jennifer Hitch of Richmond; two nieces, Madison Hitch and Emmi Hitch; and many extended family members and friends.
Whitley was a homemaker and attended Jesus Christ House of Prayer. She loved growing houseplants and caring for her flower garden, truly having a green thumb. She also served as a soccer coach for West Carter Youth Soccer. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her son. To know her was to love her, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
At her request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, Kentucky.
