Warren Thomas Planck, 94, of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born December 8, 1927, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Elmer and Cora Mae Esham Plank. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Cooper Planck; a daughter, Carol Bushey; four brothers, Guy Plank, Homer Plank, Ray Plank, and J.D. Plank; and a grandson, Kavin Archer.
He is survived by one son, Roger Planck of California; one daughter, Garnet Lemaster (Junior) of Olive Hill; one sister, Dixie Plank Blythe of Morehead; six grandchildren, Robbie Jefferson, Jason Jefferson, Joseph Jefferson, Karen Archer, Barry Archer, and Kari Thornton; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a son-in-law, Clarence Bushey of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.
Warren was a carpenter and a former school bus driver for Rowan County Board of Education. He was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed going to church, playing the guitar, and spending time with family.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rick Crank officiating. Burial will follow in Adams – Plank Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jonathan Shumate, Brian Miles, Derek Jefferson, Alex Jefferson, Tanner Jefferson, and Jackie Plank.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
