Wanda Ilene (Henry) Becraft

Wanda Ilene Henry Becraft, age 79, of Heritage Place, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at her home.

Born September 12, 1941, in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Hallie Montgomery Henry.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ramona Angel and Sylvia Henry, and eight brothers, William, Richard, Paul, Glenn, George, Charles, Kenneth, and Lawrence Henry.

Wanda is survived by one daughter, Robbin Darling of Fremont, Ohio; two sons, George Timothy Detamore of Destin, Florida, and Jason Becraft of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.   Other survivors include two sisters, Barbara Henry of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and Betty Dixon of South Carolina; one brother, Charles Henry of South Carolina, as well as extended family and friends.

Wanda was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother.  She was an independent person who in her younger years enjoyed motorcycle rides and camping and later in life watching NASCAR and the Food Network on television.  She especially enjoyed visiting with her neighbors, friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
