Valas “Val” Lynn Conley Jones, age 63, of Faris Road, Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at her residence.
Born September 14, 1961, in Lewis County, she is the daughter of Opal Harris Conley of Maysville and the late Floyd Conley. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Conley.
In addition to her mother, Val is survived by her husband of 44 years, Woodson “T” Jones, whom she married October 4, 1980; two children, Joseph Jones (Erica) of Derby, Kansas, and Jessica McCarty (David) of Flemingsburg; four grandchildren, Emily Keasey, Christopher Jones, Wesley McCarty, and Harlan McCarty; and one great granddaughter, Eleanor Keasey.
Other survivors include one sister, Teresa Adams of Maysville; a half-sister, September Barron of Tollesboro; several nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family and friends.
Val was a former employee of Four-Seasons Agriculture Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed riding her trike and spending time with family. Val will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Hutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeanne Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
