Unadell (Pennington) Eldridge

Unadell Pennington Eldridge, age 77, of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. 

Born July 15, 1942, in Elliott County, she was the daughter of the late Milt and Ottie Kegley Pennington.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Gelana Martin Pennington, and one sister-in-law, Tempie Eldridge. 

Unadell’s husband of 49 years, Steve Eldridge, whom she wed July 28, 1961, passed away July 12, 2010. 

She is survived by one son, John Eldridge; one granddaughter, Haleigh Eldridge; one grandson, Jaxon Eldridge; and two brothers and their wives, Wilford and Barbara Pennington, and Elbert and Virginia Pennington, all of Morehead, as well as two sisters-in- law, June Eldridge and Jill (Roy) Wright, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Unadell owned and operated T & E Jewelry for more than 40 years and was a past president of Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce.  She and Steve also owned and operated Eldridge & Son Farm Supply for more than 30 years.  She enjoyed being outdoors, bush hogging, gardening, and being with her family.  She will be missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Brother Johnny Hatfield officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. 

Pallbearers:  Tyler Blevins, Jaxon Eldridge, Dowe Blevins, Howard Goldberg, Phillip Clark, Jesse Clark, and Derrick Blevins.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
