Tommy Hart Booth, age 50, of Clearfield, KY, formerly of Lexington, KY passed away Monday, October 15, 2024, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born February 6, 1974, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Vicky Mullins Gumm and Robert Booth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted grandparents, Vernon and Marie Bradley, who helped raise him; a brother, Bobby Gumm; and a special uncle, Tom Bradley.
Survivors who will cherish Tommy’s memory include a brother, Douglas Yazell, of the Philippines; aunts, Patty Booth Thacker and Ginger Siders, both of Clearfield, KY, and Cheryl Bradley Conkwright and Jennifer Bradley, both of Nicholasville, KY, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including Gypsy, a special friend.
Tommy graduated from Bryan Station High School and worked in Lexington as an electrician until he moved to the Morehead area 13 years ago to help his Aunt Patty care for Robert (her brother and Tommy’s father) in her home. Tommy was a “one of a kind” guy who lived life to the fullest and loved the outdoors—target practicing at gun ranges, dirt biking, 4-wheeling, camping—and spending time with his good buddies and family. His helpful nature and sensitivity will long be remembered by those who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
In honoring Tommy’s requests, no services are planned.
Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351 is caring for arrangements.
