Terri Maggard, age 59, of Carter Caves Road, Olive Hill, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born October 14, 1960, in Loraine, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Joe Dering and Susie Watkins Dering Moses. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Pickenpaugh and Gerad W. Maggard; one brother, Johnny Dering; and one sister, Jeanie Owens.
Terri is survived by her loving husband of 31 years Phillip “Phil” Maggard; one son, Jason Dale Maggard (Shawnda) of Grayson; one daughter; Brandy Maggard (Joey) of Morehead; and seven grandchildren, Matthew Allen, Emily Jean, and Kaci Nikkol Pickenpaugh; Gerad, Chyanne, and Sydney Maggard; and Kiara Brewer.
Other survivors include one brother, Tony Dering of Bandera, Texas; one sister, Paula Hoang of Irvine, California; one brother-in-law, George Owens of Cole, Texas; extended family and friends.
Terri was a member of Gregoryville Christian Church and co-founder of Gerad Maggard Memorial Children’s Charities. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, motorcycle riding, and most of all spending time with her loving family and friends. She will be greatly missed and remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
A memorial service at the Gregoryville Christian Church will be announced at a later date.
