Sandy Marian Lawson Hunt, age 72, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at the home of her sister in Wellington, Kentucky.
Sandy was born September 21, 1947, in Pontiac, Michigan, a daughter of George Edgar Lawson and Edna Breeding Lawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Raymond Hunt; three brothers, Terry, John, and Joe Lawson, and six sisters, Dean Palmer, Grace Suddar, Margaret Brewer, Deloris Breeding, Loretta Graham, and Gloria Fay Blevins.
She is survived by one son, Richard Brian Hunt of Auburn Hills, Michigan; her twin sister, Sandra Wright of Wellington and sisters Mary Johnson of Clarkston, Michigan, and Betty McGinnis of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Jerry Lawson of Pontiac, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sandy was a retired clerical bank employee. She enjoyed watching old television shows, drinking her coffee, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in the Oldfield Cemetery in Owingsville.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
