Ross William Gaudet

Ross William Gaudet, age 54, of Morehead, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at his residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Born April 13, 1968, in Denver, Colorado, he is the son of Judy Yarbrough Gaudet of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the late Roger Gaudet. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger Gaudet.

Besides his mother, Ross is survived by his wife, Caroline Sharon Hamm-Gaudet, whom he married October 16, 2021; one son, Matt Gaudet; one daughter, Brittany Roland (Corbett); one step son, Adrian Hamm; two step daughters, Casandra Hamm and Makayla Hamm; three grandchildren, Jordon Skeens, Andrew Roland, and Skylar Roland, all of Morehead; two sisters, Leann Brown of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Stacy Egloff of Denver, Colorado; and other extended family and friends.

Ross retired as a maintenance technician following 35 years of service in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved to Kentucky four years ago and met Caroline.

He was a jack-of-all trades and an electronics enthusiast. He enjoyed cross bow hunting, spending time on Cave Run Lake and Greenbo Lake, fishing, and kayaking.  Ross helped others in any way he possibly could and will be missed by everyone who knew him. 

A celebration of life will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Minister Carl Griggs officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
