Ronnie Thomas Dean, 50 years of age, passed away March 26, 2021, surrounded by the love of his family. Born January 30, 1971, in Florence, Kentucky, son of Ronnie H. Dean and the late Joyce Ann (Erwin) Dean.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his one true love, Jenny Zimmerman; his mother, Joyce Ann Dean; his grandmother, Mary “Ruth” Conn Erwin; and his niece, Mallory Colwell.
Ronnie was the beloved brother of James Robert Dean, Mary Dean Riley (Daryl) and his baby sister and partner Nancy L. Dean (Brian). He was a loving Uncle to Hannah Colwell, Hayden Colwell, and Zack Riley (#27). He was the Proud Great Uncle to Grayson “Graceman” Colwell, Hunter Colwell, and Haysley Colwell. He leaves to cherish his memory many family members, close friends, and loved ones including his “Angel” Imogene Albert. But above all he leaves behind his and Jenny’s dog/ furbaby, Sunny Dean.
Ronnie never met a stranger and those who knew him loved him faults and all. He was adventurous, spontaneous, loyal, silly, loved holidays, hats, humor, and having a good time. He enjoyed playing the guitar, jam sessions with his buddies, golfing, fishing, and cooking for his many family and friends. Ronnie led with his heart and was protective of those he loved until his final day.
Visitation and services will be held at Clepper -Hay Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio (Oakley) on March 30, 2021 from 6-8 p.m.
Ronnie will be laid to rest next to his mother in Purvis Cemetery, Morehead, Kentucky, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 12 noon. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals (400 Fraley Drive) is assisting the family in Morehead.
