Ronald "Ronnie" Hardin Obituary

Ronald “Ronnie” Ray Hardin, age 73, of US 60 West, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Born April 15, 1949, in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Cecil Hardin and Lucille Pompili Hardin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tony Hardin in 2002; one daughter, Traci Hardin Jolley Swartz in 2009; and one sister, Paula Crowe in 2022.

Ronnie is survived by two sons, Ron Jones of Pace, Florida, and Cecil Hardin of Andover, Kansas; one daughter, Tracey Barnes (Robert) of Anderson, Indiana; one sister, Lexie Dunford of Manchester, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Carlee Fry, Ricky Swartz, Lauralee Swartz, Reece King, Mason King, McKenzie Hardin, Raquelle Hardin, Alyssa Stranzl, Haley Jones, Emily Jones, Zachary Jones, and Kate Hardin; two great grandchildren, Owen Fry and Oliver Fry; two nieces; and one nephew.

Ronnie was a very charismatic, loving and caring dad, grandpa and son.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, socializing, family, friends and his dogs.  There was never a dull moment when he was around; he could strike up a conversation with anyone.  He cared about all of us and wanted to make sure we were all taken care of.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his best friends, Butch and Debbie Williams.  He loved his family, grandkids and great grandkids with all his heart.

A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at a later date.
