Robert Lee Hamm

Robert Lee Hamm, age 52, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Born May 7, 1971, in Fleming County, Robert is the son of Robert Allen Hamm and Judy Ann Bowles Hamm of Wallingford.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Corey Robert Hamm and Cassie of Morehead and Jordan Andrew Hamm of Montgomery County; one sister, Robin Sue Hamm of Buffalo, New York; three nieces, Erica McKissack, Heather Staggs, and Amanda Skaggs; two great nieces, Arya and Emma; three great nephews, Gabriel, Caleb, and Riley; one granddaughter, Emersyn and her family; other relatives and friends, as well as his beloved dogs, “Trucker” and “Milo.”

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harley and Zourdha Bowles, and paternal grandparents, Edward Hamm and Elizabeth Rose Hamm. 

Robert was a pipefitter and welder and a member of Boilermakers Union in Cincinnati.  He was a big family man with a passion for “tinkering on cars” or anything mechanical.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting old coins, fishing poles, pictures, and many other things he considered interesting.  His family and friends also knew him as a fun-loving jokester.  He will be greatly missed and remembered with love. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon with a celebration of life immediately following at noon at the Lower Rock Lick Enterprise Baptist Church, 2356 Lower Rock Lick Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, with Pastor Willie Skaggs, Jr., officiating.
