Raymond Ray Hughes

Raymond Ray Hughes, age 43, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on U.S. 60 West in Morehead, Kentucky.

Born on September 8, 1982, in West Liberty, Kentucky, Raymond is the son of John Hughes, Sr. (Victoria) and Sharon Dale Barker (Richard), all of Morehead.

Raymond is also survived by three brothers, John Hughes, Jr. of Morehead, Adam Hughes of Clearfield, and Josh Hughes of Wayne County, Kentucky, and two sisters, Kimberly Sue Gallagher of Cynthiana and Miranda Neace of Dry Ridge, Kentucky. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Raymond was a former employee of Harold White Lumber Company. He enjoyed camping and fishing and spending time outdoors.

A celebration of life service for Raymond will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Larry Hamm officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the service at 4 p.m.

The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals to assist with funeral expenses.
