Obituary

Randall David Fife, age 65, of Bluebank Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at his residence.

 

Born August 4, 1957, in Martin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles Fife and Nannie Canteberry Fife.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

 

Randy is survived by his devoted companion of 30 years, Freda Taulbee, her children, Savannah, Joey, Lisa, and Jereme, and grandchildren; one brother, Clyde Fife of Prestonsburg; three sisters, Brenda Stackhouse of Kansas City, Missouri, and Lucy Harper of and Barbara Johnson, both of San Antonio, Texas; special brother-in-law, Eddie Lawson of Dana, Kentucky, extended family and friends.

 

Randy served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1981, was a former truck driver for Oliver Trucking Company in Winchester and was a correctional officer for the Kentucky Department of Corrections for many years.  He enjoyed traveling and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan who delighted in collecting Reds’ memorabilia. He will be greatly missed.

 

In fulfilling Randy’s request, no services are planned.
