Phyllis Parker Glover, age 78, of Holly Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at her daughter’s residence in Livingston, Kentucky.
Born June 26, 1942, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Carmel Burnis Parker and Olive Myrtle Cox Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George Glover, whom she married July 7, 1960, and a brother, Lonnie Steven “Steve” Parker.
Phyllis is survived by two sons, Ersie Eugene Glover of Morehead and Ricky Glover (Phyllis Emmons) of Rock Hills, South Carolina; a daughter, Sarah Tudor (Scott) of Livingston; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was a homemaker and member of Holly Fork Free Will Baptist Church. Phyllis enjoyed helping out at church, gardening, and spending time with family. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Monroe Craig and Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in Hogge Cemetery.
Visitation will be from will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
