Phillip Eugene "Pooh" Knipp

Phillip Eugene "Pooh" Knipp, age 47, of Little Perry Road, Morehead, formerly of Olive Hill, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, at his residence. 

Born July 25, 1976, in Ashland, he is the son of Brenda Seagraves Knipp of Olive Hill and the late Lowell Preston Knipp.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bobby and Nancy Seagraves, and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Eva Knipp.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, April Cole (Timmy) of Olive Hill; special aunt, Linda Seagraves of Olive Hill; three nephews: Josh Cundiff (Samantha), Brendon Cundiff (Chyna) and Logan Colegrove; three great nieces:  Kensi, Emma, Piper; two great nephews: Callen and Oliver; his faithful dog, Cooter Ray; and many other family and friends.

Phillip was a foreman for Slate Creek Contracting in Owingsville.  He enjoyed the great outdoors and nature in general.  Watching the sunset was always special to him.  Most of all, however, he loved helping others, spending time his family and friends and making wonderful memories. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.

A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Paul Webb officiating.

Pallbearers: Josh Cundiff, Brendon Cundiff, Timmy Cole, Brent Pergrem, Toby Roe, and Corey Barker.  Honorary pallbearer: Cooter Ray

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
