Phillip Nolan Dyer, age 78, of KY Highway 213, Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born October 19, 1944, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Linden and Martha Arnett Dyer.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Metz Dyer, of Jeffersonville; one son, Phillip (Cheryl) Dyer of Means; one daughter, Pamela Sue (Jerry) Richardson of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Kennel (Betty) Dyer of Jeffersonville; three grandchildren, Jon Nolan (Bri) Dyer of Winchester, Christina (Andy) Huber of Jeffersonville, Robbie (Brenda) Rudd of Jeffersonville, Nick (Julie) Rudd of Sharpsburg; and six great grandchildren, Nolan Keith Dyer, Axel Henderson-Rudd, Kyra Henderson-Rudd, Jordan Henderson, Wyatt Rudd, and Waylon Ratliff.
Phillip served in the U.S. Army and retired from Walker Construction in Mt. Sterling after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Assembly of God.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Jeffersonville Baptist Church, 145 Highway 599, Jeffersonville, with Brother David Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Donald Knipp, Bobby Paul Arnett, Nick Rudd, Robbie Rudd, Bugsy Martin, and Marty Clark.
Honorary Pallbearers: Richard Little, Bob Back, Bob Arnett, Bill Arnett, Ronnie Robinson.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Jeffersonville Baptist Church, 145 Highway 599, Jeffersonville, KY 40337.
