Peggy Bizzel Obituary

Peggy Watkins Bizzel, age 92, of Morehead, Kentucky, a dedicated wife and mother, passed away December 30, 2020, at her home.

Born August 21, 1928, in Caruthersville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William and Kitty Jordan Watkins.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dr. Jack English Bizzel, on October 23, 2015. She is survived by their son, Jeffrey Bizzel, of Morehead.

The Bizzels moved to Morehead in 1966 when Jack joined the faculty in the Department of Political Science at Morehead State University. Peggy was involved in many University and local activities, although her main focus was always her family. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Morehead.

At her request, services will be private. Entombment with her beloved husband will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
