Patricia Anne Curtin Ginter, age 71, of Buffalo Branch, Morehead, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
Born January 22, 1948, in St. Paul, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Norma Miller Curtin.
Her husband of 35 years, Charles Ginter, whom she married in 1967, preceded her in death on July 25, 2002.
She is survived by one son, John Charles Ginter and wife Sharon of Morehead; one grandson, Steven Cox and wife Brandis of Morehead; four great grandchildren, Parker and Dylan Cox and Jordyn and Cameron Carlson
Other survivors include one sister, Annette Strong of Frederick, Maryland, and one brother, Michael Curtin of St. Paul, Minnesota, as well as nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and many friends.
Patricia was a former hairdresser at Fantastic Sam’s and had been a registration clerk at St. Claire Regional Medical Center. She was an eclectic person who enjoyed all aspects of homemaking, taking care of the family, reading, gardening, and different kinds of crafts. She especially enjoyed baking with Steven as her helper and watching Dylan and Parker play soccer and baseball. Another passion was creating jewelry from various sources that she happily shared with others. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and compassion will long be remembered. She attended Johnson First Church of God.
A visitation celebrating Patricia’s life will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, and again on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
Private interment will be held at Brown Cemetery.
