Pamela Gayle (Strange) Martin

Pamela Gayle Martin, 63, wife of Alfred Martin, of Jeffersonville, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, with her family by her side.  She was born on July 5, 1959, to the late Roy Strange and Geneva Donathan Strange of Jeffersonville.

Pam was a 1977 graduate of Montgomery County High School.  She worked at Nancy Rae Grocery, Nestle, Lion Apparel, G & K in Mt. Sterling and CMS in Powell County over the years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Strange Jr., and Gary Strange.  She was a member of the Spruce First Church of God in Jeffersonville.  Pam is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alfred Martin; son, Daniel Ray Martin; granddaughter, Ava Gayle Martin; brother, Gerald Strange (wife Joyce); sister, Patricia Strange White (husband Paul); Pam Lutes Strange; several nieces and nephews.  To know Pam was to love her.  She was always looking out and caring for the people around her.  Pam will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services officiated by Brother David Campbell will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Spruce First Church of God in Jeffersonville, Kentucky.  Visitation will also be May 2, 2023, from 12 noon until 2 p.m.  Burial will follow at the Martin & Willoughby Cemetery with Ralph Bailey, Curtis Paul Bailey, Derrick Bailey, Jeffery Strange, Darrell, Esteppe, Marty McCoy, and Alex McIntosh serving as pallbearers.
