Olga Milán-González, 72, of Willow Brook Court, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at St. Claire Health Care in Morehead.
Born September 20, 1948, in Guánica, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Rubén Milán and Olga González. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Libertad “Papo” Napoleoni-Alvarado; a daughter, Olga Enid Napoleoni-Milán; and a son, Atnell W. Napoleoni-Milán.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Rosita Napoleoni-Milán and her husband, Wilson J. González-Espada, and two beloved grandchildren, Javier A. González-Napoleoni and Angel E. González-Napoleoni, all of Morehead.
Olga was an elementary English teacher, a devoted wife, and a sweet and loving mom. Family was her top priority, and she raised her children to be humble and good people. She was always the best of friends.
She was also outgoing, an innate leader, and was the president of her high school graduation class. Throughout her life, she filled her family with joy, and they will treasure her advice and life lessons forever. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church.
Visitation for Olga will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020, at Jesus Our Father Catholic Church (315 Battson Ave., Morehead, KY 40351) immediately followed by a funeral mass at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Arturo Molina officiating.
