Noah Kidd

Noah David Kidd, age 67, of Sandy Hook, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at his residence.

Born June 13, 1954, in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Lonnie Kidd and Marion Smith Hunt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Mabel Bowling Kidd Flannery Ratliff; step-father, Bruce Hunt; and one sister, Norma Jean Kidd.

He is survived by his companion and best friend of 35 years, Sylvia Howard of Sandy Hook; three children, Brian Kidd, Jariod Kidd, and Vanessa Kidd, all of Elliott County; a step-son, Stacy (Candy) Howard of West Liberty; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren.

Other survivors include two brothers, Robert Kidd and Dwayne Kidd, both of West Liberty; three sisters, Christy Skaggs of Mt. Sterling, Joyce Kidd of Morehead, and Debbie Sue Lemaster of Lebanon, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator. Noah enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horses, listening to Bluegrass and gospel music, playing horseshoes, and spending time with friends, especially at the Buckeye Camp.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

Following the visitation, a graveside service and burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. at Kidd Cemetery on Hwy 711 in West Liberty with Pastor Andy Lands officiating.
