Naoma Lambert Campbell Maines, age 81, of Thompson Station, Tennessee, formerly of Clearfield, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, at Claiborne Hughes Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin, Tennessee.
She was born May 4, 1938, in Rowan County, and was the daughter of the late Eli Anderson (Andy) Lambert and Lula Ethel Baldridge Lambert. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Dale Campbell; eleven brothers; and two sisters.
Naoma is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Bill) Doute of Thompson Station, Tennessee; four grandchildren, James Campbell, Jason (Kristen) Campbell, Alison (Chuck) Harris, and Andrew (Grace) Doute; four great grandchildren, Lili, Sydnee, Maizie and Samuel; daughter-in-law, Ruby Campbell of Clearfield; a host of nieces and nephews; and other extended family members.
She retired from Astro Aluminum Corporation in Michigan, was a former employee of Walmart in Morehead and had been a caregiver. Naoma enjoyed listening to country music, singing, and playing several instruments, although the guitar was her favorite. She also enjoyed flower gardening, caring for her animals, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bishop Greg Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Dillon Cemetery on Dry Creek Road.
Pallbearers: Derek Fannin, Andrew Doute, Chuck Harris, Micah Wallace, Jason Campbell, James Campbell, and Doug Robinson.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
