Nancy Lee (Katchke) Riley

Nancy Lee Katchke Riley, age 65, of Sunset Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky.

Born August 22, 1957, in Winamac, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Dorothy Elizabe Katchke.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Philip Jimison.

Nancy is survived by her husband, James Riley, whom she married July 8, 1991; two sons, Keith Jimison of Kevil, Kentucky, and Michael Jimison of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Jennifer Griffitt of Vanceburg, Kentucky, and Rebecca (Robert) Riley of Hillsboro, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Other survivors to cherish her memory are four brothers, Kenneth Katchke of South Bend, Indiana, Ray Katche of Bluffton, Indiana, Norman Katchke of Bluffton, Indiana, and Billy Katchke of North Judson, Indiana; one sister, Betty Hurlburt of Winamac, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Nancy was a former restaurant worker at Mama Joe’s Pizza and Parker’s Grocery in Flemingsburg.  She enjoyed knitting, working crossword puzzles and being outdoors, especially working in her yard. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Hutton Funeral Home with family officiating.  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
