Minnie Maxine (Glover) Harris

Minnie Maxine Glover Harris, age 85, of Holly Fork Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead. 

Born March 1, 1937, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Ersie Glover and Lula Belle Reeder Glover Masters.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack LeRoy Harris on March 26, 2005; one son, Clyde Harris, one daughter, Patricia Henderson; one grandson, Jackson Flickinger; one great grandson, Ryder Lee Garris; two sisters, Betty Glover and Myrle Hamm; and one brother, George Glover.

Survivors to cherish her memory include three daughters, Debra Jean Baker, Anita and Heath Loper, Mary Harris (Woody Lewis), all of Morehead; two brothers, Guy and Darlene Glover of Shelby, Ohio, and Harold Glover of Morehead; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Minnie Harris was a member of the Holly Fork Church.  She loved spending time with her family and she cherished her grandchildren dearly.  Minnie was warm, kind, loving and a genuine caring soul.  Her smile was always very inviting.  Throughout her years she enjoyed being outdoors, watching the wildlife that surrounded her home, quilting, and Word Search.  She spent time with her sister watching U.K. basketball and the Cincinnati Reds.  Minnie was loved and cherished by many and will forever be missed. 

A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Butch Kelsey and Bro. Jack Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in Masters Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Heath Loper, Duane Hamm, Stephen Baker, Woody Lewis, Donnie Glover, and Josh Henderson.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
