Millicent Carol Chapman Johnson, age 61, of Spring Street North, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
Born January 26, 1959, in Yuma, Arizona, Millicent was a daughter of the late Harold Chapman and Lavina McClurg Chapman.
She is survived by one daughter, Cyndi Johnson (and Shane Thompson), and two sons, James Johnson (and Nickie) and Richard Johnson (and Sheila Lowe), all of Morehead; loving grandchildren, Kinsey, Kolin, Brianna, Daniel, Aiden, Abbigale, Kelsey, Connor, and Chase; and a great granddaughter, Everly.
Other survivors include two brothers, Billy Chapman (and Jennifer) of Bath County and Randall Chapman (and Leshia) of Morehead; one sister, Kerri Chapman of Bath County; and special niece, Abby Crouch.
Millicent was a homemaker who enjoyed making a house a home, gardening. working with her flowers and watching “Days of Our Lives.” Her greatest joy, however, was loving and spending time with her grandchildren whose lives were greatly influenced by their Mamaw. She will always be remembered with love.
A celebration of life will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Saundra Nathanson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Richard Cornett, Daniel Johnson, Gail Goodpaster, Isiaih Thompson, Ethan Hunt, and Dustin Wallace
Visitation will be Monday, October 12, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
