Michael Ray Sergent, age 48, of Berea, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington. 
 
He was born October 7, 1976, in Harlan, Kentucky, and was a son of the late Sherry Lynn Hubbs. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Joe Sergent and maternal grandparents, Willie Joe Hubbs and Judy Eversole Hubbs.

Michael is survived by two daughters, Carissa Sturtevant and husband Josh of Olive Hill and McKayla Sergent of Lexington; one brother, Jesse Sergent of Lexington; one granddaughter, Izzabella Sturtevant; and other extended family and friends.

He was a construction worker and enjoyed fishing, landscaping, and spending time with his family.

At his request, no services will be held.
