Michael Wayne Roe, age 48, of Dark Hollow Road, Clearfield, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington after complications suffered from a brain aneurysm.
Born September 10, 1972, in Morehead, he is the son of Rebecca Cooley (and husband Don McCoy) and David Roe, all of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his parents and stepfather, Michael is survived by his wife of 29 years, Crystal Lambert Roe; three children, Cassie Roe of Morehead, Dakota Roe, serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Ft. Lewis, and Virginia Beth Roe, at home; three grandchildren, Maleigha, Mason, and McKinley; and one brother, Jason Roe of Mt. Sterling.
He also leaves behind several cousins; special sister-in-law, Ruby Campbell; extended family, and friends.
Michael had been a self-employed construction worker and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gary Willoughby officiating.
Visitation for Michael Wayne Roe will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
