Obituary
Mary Jane Hall Rowley, age 74, of Seas Branch, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
Born August 10, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Leland Hall and Mary Louise Spearman Hall. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Hall and a brother-in-law, Fred Wade.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob Rowley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Genie Rowley and Chris and Kelly Rowley; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Eddie McCleese, all of Morehead; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and expecting another this fall.
Other survivors include three sisters, Kathryn Wade of Centerburg, Ohio, Pamela Wheeler and husband Bink of Utica, Ohio, and Rita Tefft and husband Scott of Columbus, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Karen Hall of Marion, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
Mary was a homemaker and attended Elliottville Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers, and sewing. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
