Marsha Gayle Donahue Schroader, 65, of North Drive, Hopkinsville, and formerly of Morehead, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at her home.
Born February 10, 1960, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Charles Donahue and Bonnie Mohr Hayes.
She is survived by two daughters, Heather Anderson (Michael) of Louisville and Kara Schroader (Toby Hendricks) of Hopkinsville; one brother, Mark Donahue of Salt Lick; three sisters, Tona Kidd of Morehead, Tammy Hamric of Salt Lick, and Chainn Lewis of Clearfield; three grandchildren, Charles, Lauren, and Leah Anderson; several nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends.
Marsha worked for many years as a hairdresser and later as a school bus driver for the Marshall County Board of Education. She loved working puzzles, playing card games—especially Rook—and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Evangelist Ben Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Kidd, Kevin Kidd, Ben Lewis, Emily Donahue, Markie Donahue, and Jeremy Donahue.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
