Marsha Lynn Kelsey, 50, of Cranston Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after an extended illness.
Born April 22, 1971, in Morehead, she is the daughter of John Samuel “Butch” Kelsey and Geraldine Little Kelsey of Morehead.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Brandi DeAnna Kelsey and Jade Danielle Kelsey; one grandson, Marshall Samuel Tildon Kelsey; one sister, Mona Sue Spivey (Rich); and one niece, Erica Nicolette Barton (Clay), all of Morehead.
Marsha graduated from Rowan County Senior High School in 1989. A very creative person, she loved art and reading and all kinds of animals, especially dogs. Family was important to Marsha and her grandson Marshall was definitely her “pride and joy.” She will be loved and missed by all of her family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Monroe Craig and Brother Jack Gulley officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Caudill Cemetery on Cranston Road, Morehead.
Pallbearers: Tim Kelsey, Terry Hall, Jason Hall, Jack Gulley, Heath Loper, and Harry Gulley.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
