She retired from the Perry Community School as a teacher’s assistant and was foster mother for many years. She worked hard all of her life and enjoyed working on her home in New Lexington, Ohio, and on the farm and in the garden. Ruth was a dedicated friend to many and helped people whose circumstances were less than hers. She had a significant talent and a loved for cooking and baking.  She always enjoyed making someone’s favorite meal or treat and seeing how happy it made them.
