Lowell Dean "LD" Murray

Lowell Dean “LD” Murray, age 69, of Morehead, was born April 20, 1951, in Lexington, Kentucky, and passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021.

 LD was a former resident of Lexington, Kentucky, Athens, Georgia, and London, Kentucky.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Deborah Adkins Murray; his son, Lowell David and his wife Lindsey Murray of Hebron, Kentucky; his daughter Stephanie and her husband Jay Emmons of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. He is the loving son of Lowell Vernon Murray and Dorothy Jean Mynhier Murray of Morehead. He was a devoted grandfather to Calvin Dehart, Trace and Ty Emmons, Mackenzie and Sydney Murray.

LD was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl and Addie Murray, and maternal grandparents, Clayton and Myrtle Mynhier.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), 100 W. Third Street, Maysville, KY 41056.
