Lottie Mabry Richardson, age 86, of East Clack Mountain Road, Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born July 9, 1934, she was a daughter of the late David Wilson and Magelean Smedley Mabry. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett Lee Mabry and Wilson Junior Mabry; one sister, Betty Jo Mabry Purnell; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Richardson; a grandson-in-law, Mike Robinson; three infant brothers; and one infant sister.
Her husband of nearly 67 years, Clifford Carl Richardson, whom she married March 29, 1952, preceded her in death on January 26, 2019, and one son, Dennis Paul Richardson on April 24, 2020.
Lottie is survived by one daughter, Terri Thomas and husband Larry of Clearfield; one son, Jeff Richardson of Morehead; a great grandson that she raised as her own son, Matthew Smith of Clearfield; six grandchildren, Angela Smith (Jason), Lynn Richardson, Lauren Thomas (Shaun Sizemore), Tierney Richardson, Chase Richardson, and Alyssa Thomas; seven great grandchildren, Hasten Richardson, Ashleigh Richardson, Heaven Wilder, Gage Wilder, Sarah Richardson, Aiden Carey, and Mason Sizemore; five great-great grandchildren, Aiden Richardson, Wade Richardson, Kendall Aregood, Stella Richardson, and Ava Ford; and daughter-in-law, Kay Richardson of Wellington.
Other survivors include two brothers, Franklin Mabry and wife Sue, and Glennis Mabry, all of Clearfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Lottie was a manager of the Dollar General Store for more than 20 years, a cook at Life Care Center for seven years and a former employee of Cowdens Manufacturing. She loved quilting, sewing, sitting on her front porch, cooking, gardening, and working in her flowers. Lottie loved spending time with her family, friends, and most of all, her grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 mandates set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private family visitation and service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Private burial will follow at Crix Cemetery. The funeral will be livestreamed at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Facebook page at 1 p.m. Saturday.
