Loretta (Wagoner) Davis

Loretta Wagoner Davis, age 82, of Oak Hills Circle, Olive Hill, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at her home.

Born May 23, 1941, in Elliott County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Wagoner and Sarah Segraves Wagoner.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Marvin “Pete” Davis, on May 5, 2018; one son, Marvin Roy Davis; two brothers, Wilburn Wagoner and Willard Wagoner; and three sisters, Esther McGinnis, Jewel Brown, and Louvonia Feltner. 

She is survived by two sons, Rick (Darlene) Davis of Vanceburg and Gary (Sheila) Davis of Olive Hill; five grandchildren, Kendall Davis, Dalton Davis, Joseph Davis, Marissa Davis, and Felicia Brown; six great grandchildren, Elijah Ammon Davis, Bryleigh Sueann Davis, Madelyn Davis, Lakeleigh Davis, Gabriel Brown, Lovelynn Davis; and very special friends, Tim and Rosie Hamilton.

In addition to being a homemaker, Loretta was an employee of White Town Dry Cleaners in Olive Hill for ten years. She enjoyed working puzzles and crocheting, but most of all she enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a member of Flat Fork Church of God.  Loretta will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. 

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Steve Madden officiating.  Burial will follow in Bowen Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kendall Davis, Dalton Davis, Marissa Davis, Felicia Brown, Joseph Davis, Tim Hamilton, and David Brown.  Honorary pallbearers will be Elijah Davis and Bryleigh Davis

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
