Linda Lois (Alfrey) Bourque Metze

Linda Lois Alfrey Bourque Metze, age 79, of Achterman Road, Pleasant Plain, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at her residence.

Born March 18, 1944, at Beaver Creek in Frenchburg, Linda was a daughter of the late Harvard C. Alfrey and Ruby Mildred Robinson Alfrey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fredrick “Bob” Metze on January 8, 2002.

She is survived by one son, Harvard Clay Bourque and wife Kelly of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; two stepsons, Scott D. Metze and wife Laurie of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Robert L. Metze of Kansas City, Kansas; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Yvonne Quesinberry of Morehead, Charlotte Raines of Goshen, Ohio, and Deborah Dean of Cincinnati, Ohio; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Linda retired from Fechheimer Brothers Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, after 30 plus years as chief financial officer.  She enjoyed working in her flowers, cooking, gardening, and working crossword puzzles. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with a graveside service immediately following at Ginter Cemetery in Menifee County with Brother Joey Damron officiating.
