Laura Jean (Gregory) Mynhier

Laura Jean Gregory Mynhier, age 51, of E. Hwy 36, Olympia, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at her residence.

Born March 26, 1970, in Morehead, Laura was the daughter of the late Harlen Gregory and Rosella Wheeler Gregory.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Wyatt Slone; one sister, Carol Simpson; and two infant siblings, Christina and James.

Laura is survived by two daughters, Janet Cyrus and husband Austin of Beaver, Kentucky, and Ashley Slone and husband J. C. of Morehead, and seven grandchildren.

Other survivors include four sisters:  Juanita Butler of Morehead, Debra Brown of Morehead, Theresa Lewis of Clearfield, and Pamela Frazier of Ohio; four brothers:  Brandon Gregory of Clearfield, Roger Gregory of Arizona, Stevie Gregory of Louisville, and Timmy Gregory of Vanceburg; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family was the most important part of Laura’s life.  She adored her grandbabies and loved spending time with them and other family members.  She enjoyed riding around sightseeing, listening to country music, watching U.K. basketball, doing all kinds of arts and crafts, and working in her flower gardening.  She will be greatly missed. 

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Arnold Ison and Brother Clyde Mayse officiating.  For those who prefer to participate virtually, the service will be live streamed on Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Facebook page beginning at 1p.m.  Burial will follow in Quesinberry Cemetery #1, Oak Grove Road, Morehead.

Pallbearers:  Randy Brown, Jonathan Runyon, David Holland, Brandon Gregory, Austin Cyrus, J. C. Slone, John Donathan, David Donathan, Robbie Donathan.
