Kimberly Lynn Seyfang Dillon, age 57, of East Highway 60, Salt Lick, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington after an extended illness.
Born April 4, 1965, in Washington Court House, Ohio, she is the daughter of Linda Lou Slagle Seyfang of Morehead and the late Archie Wayne Seyfang.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 16 years, Chris Dillon, whom she married January 14, 2006; two daughters, Lindy Messer (Jeremy) of Olive Hill and Isabella Williams of Morehead; two sons, Joshua Dillon of Louisville and Jordan Bowling of Ohio; 13 grandchildren, Amelia, Destiny, Madison, Lilly, Landon, Charity, Heaven, Jeremiah, Felicity, John, and Jocelyn Messer, Leanna Edington, and Taidym Martin; and one great granddaughter, Ariel Edington
Other survivors include two sisters, Toni Amburgey (Nate) of Dayton, Ohio, and Mia Bowling of Morehead; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and other extended family and friends.
Kimberly was a graduate of Patterson Co-Op High School and attended Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, and also attended Rowan County Vocational Technical School. She was a cosmetologist for more than 20 years, a personal caregiver and foster mother for many years.
Kimberly enjoyed cooking, camping, going on outings with close friends and family, traveling to Myrtle Beach, and doing her job as a hair stylist when she was able. She loved spending time with her cosmo friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren. Kimberly will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Frank and Martha Seyfang; maternal grandparents, Leonard Slagle and Betty Brown; and an uncle, Jamie Slagle.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel in Morehead with Pastor Andy Lands officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Messer, Kyle Bowling, Destiny Messer, Tyler Stephens, Madison Messer, and Chris Petre.
Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 , at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
