Kim Eugene Leadingham

Kim Eugene Leadingham, age 52, of Walker Road, Olive Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at St. Claire HeathCare in Morehead.

Born October 19, 1968, in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Eugene Velton Leadingham and Betty Lou Barker Leadingham.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Barker Tindell on January 21, 2021; one sister, Dottie Wagoner; and one brother, Maddison Leadingham.

Kim is survived by two sons, Dustin Leadingham and Cory (Brook) Leadingham; one daughter, Bethany (Ryan) Thomas, all of Morehead; and seven grandchildren, Peyton Leadingham, Rayden Leadingham, Kaylen Leadingham, Hayden Simms, Haisley Thomas, Bryson Leadingham, and Braxton Leadingham.

Other survivors include four brothers, Velton (Barbara) Leadingham of Hickory, North Carolina, Buris (Linda) Leadingham of Olive Hill, Rick (Ladina) Leadingham and Scotty Leadingham, all of Elliott County; two sisters, Vera (Carlos) Middleton of Olive Hill and Janet (Bill) Cox of Elliott County; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kim was a self-employed drywaller and was of the Christian faith.  He enjoyed gardening, listening to gospel music, and especially loved spending time with family.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Buris Leadingham and Rick Leadingham officiating. Burial will follow in Leadingham Cemetery on Mauk Ridge, Olive Hill, KY.

Pallbearers:  Dustin Leadingham, Cory Leadingham, Velton Leadingham, Scotty Leadingham, Ryan Thomas, and Rena Cox.

Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

COVID-19 mandates will be observed.
