Kenneth Wagoner Obituary

Kenneth Van Wagoner, age 63, of Flemingsburg Road, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at his home. 

 

Born April 26, 1958, in Elliott County, he was a son of the late Luther Ray Wagoner and Alice Buckner Wagoner.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Addie Wagoner and Bill Wagoner; three sisters, Ethel Prewitt, Pauline Skaggs, and Patricia Wright; and an infant daughter. 

 

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Roberts Wagoner, mother of Bryan, and his second wife, Cheri Scanlon Wagoner. 

 

He is survived by his son, Bryan Wagoner and his wife Eliza of Lewisburg, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brianna Wagoner and Dylan Wagoner; two brothers, Robert Wagoner and Wayne Wagoner, both of Morehead, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

 

Kenneth had been an iron worker foreman.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors.  He had a kind heart and would do anything for anybody.  Kenneth loved his family and will be greatly missed.

 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Lower Rock Lick Enterprise Baptist Church, 1169 Lower Rock Lick Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
