Kayla Renee Hinton, age 22, of Vincent Hollow, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away January 14, 2009, at St. Augustine, Florida. Kayla was born September 22, 1986, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the daughter of Barry and Veronica Rivers Hinton. Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Phillip Hinton of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one nephew, Dominic Hinton; and maternal grandparents, Forrest Rivers of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Shirley Withrow Smith and husband Lester of Haldeman, Kentucky. Kayla was a graduate of West Carter High School and attended Morehead State University. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinton Cemetery at Haldeman, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Jeff Rivers, James Rivers, Bob Rivers, Micheal Smith, Keith Hinton, and Vaughn Hinton. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
