Kathy Caudill Caskey Eldridge, age 70, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Joseph Main in Lexington.
She was born June 12, 1952, in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Eugene Caudill and Ruth Manning Binion Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Doug Caudill.
Kathy is survived by two loving daughters, Kemberly Tackett of Clearfield and Krista Utterback and Mel of Morehead and one precious granddaughter, Kiley Utterback.
Others to cherish her memory include one brother, Steve Caudill (Tammy) of Morehead; one sister, Sonja Caudill of Morehead; special aunts and uncles, Nona Bartell (Joe) of Kimberling City, Missouri, and Von Manning (Donna) of Morehead, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Kathy retired from Morehead State University in 2004 after 25 years of service. Previously, she had been an employee of Ford Motor Company in Michigan and the Morehead Clinic. Kathy was a loving mother who was full of life, vibrant, and had a beautiful smile that would brighten any room. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, helping others, and most of all loving her family—her world—especially her granddaughter, Kiley. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. Kathy was a member of the Bluebank First Church of God.
A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin and Bro. James Caudill, her nephew, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Lee Dupuy, Darrell Lykins, Denver Lykins, Jackie Thomas, Mike Thomas, and Mel Utterback.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
