Kathy Smalley

Kathy Cornett Smalley, age 64, of Christian Street, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born March 3, 1958, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Monroe Cornett and Barbara L. Crawford Cornett.   

She is survived by one daughter, Amanada Smalley Vancleave of Morehead; two grandsons, Justin Michael Vancleave of Michigan, and Kamron Matthew Blake Goodpaster of Morehead; one brother, Bobby Keith Cornett of Morehead; and other extended family and friends.

Kathy retired from Morehead State University as secretary at the Wilma Caudill Health Clinic. She enjoyed reading, going to the movie theatre, and especially spending time with her family.  Kathy will be remembered with love and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Lansford May officiating.  Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
