Kathaleen "Kathy" (Back) Rigsby

Kathaleen “Kathy” Back Rigsby, age 64, of Ebon Road, Wellington, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020, at U. K. HealthCare in Lexington.

Born March 25, 1956, in Middletown, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late J. K. Back and Rosie Alice Howard Back.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Cordell Back and Grady Back.

Kathy is survived by her husband, A. C. Rigsby, who she married April 13, 1975; three brothers, William Back and Estill (and wife Jennifer) Back, all of Wellington, and Mike Back of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Connie (and husband Tony) Bowman of Wellington and Media (and husband Delbert) Fairchild of Xenia, Ohio; a host nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker and a former employee of U. S. Shoe Factory in West Liberty.  She enjoyed helping on the farm, Facebooking, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and taking care of her many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be 8 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jess Brewer and Brother Greg Ferrell officiating. 

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center, Office of Philanthropy, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, KY 40508
